In summer, she comes undone.
The heat reworks her collar,
dampens seams, loosens curls.
For hours after they’re removed,
sunglasses bridge her face
without darkening her afternoon.

  1. Love this, brilliant images and ideas in the two triplets - coming undone and the untanned sunglass shadow, like two fully-formed haiku.
